Policy & Practice

Springside Primary School is driven in our commitment to the protection of all children

Springside Primary School is dedicated to the protection of all children from all forms of child abuse. At Springside Primary School we demonstrated this commitment through the implementation of a comprehensive Child Safe program which is tailored to keep children safe at all times. The program is endorsed by the school governing authority and periodically reviewed for its effectiveness. We encourage external scrutiny enabling the identification of opportunities for improvement. We have clear and high expectations of behaviour for all staff and students and our wider community members.

At Springside Primary School we have zero tolerance for any forms of child abuse and are dedicated in acting in a child’s best interest and in keeping them safe from harm at all times. The school regards its child protection responsibilities with the utmost importance and as such, is committed to providing the necessary resources and training to guarantee compliance with all relevant child protection laws and regulations.

We maintain a child safe culture that;
